Our congratulations go out to Martin Phipps for yet another BAFTA Award win. Martin was awarded for his score to the BBC's excellent adaptation of Andrea Levy's novel, 'Small Island'. Well done Martin!

Congratulations to Nicholas Hooper! His original motion picture soundtrack, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince', has been nominated for best movie score for the 2010 Grammy Awards.

Congratulations to both Edmund Butt and Martin Phipps for there RTS Award wins for 'Yellowstone' and 'Wallander', respectively. Two fantastic scores!

Micheal Caine's intense portrayal of 'Harry Brown' in Daniel Barber's intensely dark thriller dealing with many of our worst fears in relation to current British societyis now released in cinema's throughout the UK. Very well done to Julian Nott for his Ivor Novello Award win for Best TV score. He was awarded the Ivor for his fantastic score to 'Wallace & Grommit: A Matter Of Loaf And Death'. Congratulations!

AWARDS NEWS April 2009: Well, it looks like a clean sweep for COOL Music clients in all of this year's craft awards! Ben Bartlett, Anne Dudley, and Julian Nott have all been nominated for Ivor Novello Best TV Score awards for 'Fiona's Story', 'Trial & Retribution' and 'Wallace & Gromit - A Matter Of Life And Death', respectively. Also, we were incredibly pleased to find out that every BAFTA nomination for Best TV score has gone to a COOL Music client! Martin Phipps has been nominated for his scores to both 'Wallander' and 'Sense & Sensibility'. John Lunn has been nominated for his score to 'Little Dorrit', and Paul Leonard Morgan has received a nomination for his score to the latest series of 'Spooks'. Massive congratulations go out to all concerned for getting recognition for the very hard work they put in on all the projects mentioned!

We are thrilled to announce that Oscar winning composer Anne Dudley, known for her incredible scores to such features as 'American History X', 'The Walker', 'Pushing Tin', and 'Black Book', has joined Cool Music for worldwide representation. All of us at Cool offer her a very warm welcome.

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix receives unanimous critical acclaim! The premiere proved to be a sparkling event, and the film has been very well received by audiences worldwide. Congratulations also to Kevin Sargent whose performance as joint soloist in two double piano concertos by Malcolm Arnold with the Ulster Orchestra for BBC R3, just released on the Naxos label, has been hailed by Gramophone magazine as 'brilliant and alert'.

Cool Music Ltd and Warner Bros Pictures are delighted to announce that following on from the success of The Order Of The Phoenix, Nicholas Hooper will be scoring the music for the forthcoming Harry Potter feature film, The Half Blood Prince. The film once again reunites Nicholas with director David Yates and is being produced by David Heyman and David Barron.

Congratulations to Nicholas Hooper for his success at the BAFTA Television Craft Awards. He went home with the award for Best Original Television Score for his haunting soundtrack for Prime Suspect: The Final Act.

Rob also won a 2005 Ivor Novello Award for his score to the hit BBC drama 'Blackpool' whilst also being nominated for an Emmy for his score to Charles II in 2004.
