Mark Hinton Stewart
Mark
Hinton Stewart is a cutting edge, contemporary British film and
television composer. He moves seamlessly from a refined classical
knowledge to a complete understanding of the most modern sounds
around - Mark assisted on the Music Supervision of both Lock,
Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and The Real Howard
Spitz. Originally a classically trained pianist and organist,
he has worked with some of the biggest names in the film/pop scene,
from Sir George Martin to Jools Holland
and Adam F. Mark has scored five films including Tube
Tales (the Sky Pictures movie with Ewan McGregor, Denise
van Outen, Rachel Weisz, Jason Flemyng and Bob Hoskins), The
Truth Game for Screen Production Associates, the feature
Dog Eat Dog for Film Four/Tiger Aspect Pictures and
Baby Juice Express for The Spice Factory starring
Nick Moran. Mark scored the incredibly successful BBC series Cutting
It, and the 8 part series 55 Degrees North for Zenith
Entertainment/BBC. He composed the title music for Waterloo
Road with Shed Productions for the BBC and created a compelling
score for Magnolia for Red Productions. He recently
completed the score to the USA film feature The
Man From Earth with Richard Schenkman and has just
completed the score for a special two parter of the BBC's Casualty.
He has now completed scoring Holby Blue Series
2, the latest creation from Tony Jordan for BBC1 made by Red Planet
/ Kudos, also having scored series 1, and recently completed scoring
The Chase series 2 for Rollem Productions.
He is currently working on the feature film Outlaws
for Syndicate Films.
